~ 지 (지 말지)

Easy grammar point and is used a lot. This is used to say ‘why haven’t/didn’t you do that’. When you use ~지 말지 it means ‘don’t do that’ ‘you should not do that’. Please note that this cannot be used to older people then you or upper in the hierarchy. It can be used with those younger then you and to friends.

온을 운동 하지. Why didn’t you exercise today.

선생님께 내 안부도 조 전해 주지. You should have given the teacher my regards.
